Meet the maker

Small shop. Careful work.

I’m Jeff Rathjen, the maker behind JPR LeatherWorks. I build practical leather goods in a rustic, traditional style—pieces meant to be used, handled, and kept.

Working one project at a time makes room for the details: selecting the leather, refining the edges, setting the stitch, and making sure the finished piece feels right in the hand.
